On the eve of Wu Zetian’s enthronement, a subterranean divine pagoda catches fire. Di Renjie and Wu Chang-an follow the trail through the Ghost Market and beneath the Divine Capital, pursuing the truth amid faceless arts, sculptural memory, and an old blood debt.
